ENAR has issued the latest edition of its newsletter ENARgy, which
focuses on the theme ‘The situation of the Roma in Europe: challenges
and ways forward’. It offers a by no means exhaustive sampling of a
range of issues and perspectives on the situation of the Roma community
in Euope, including Roma civil society’s assessment of EU actions in
relation to the Roma and the Spanish Presidency’s priorities in thi

Eurostat on unemployment and inflation

to Eurostat statistics published on March 1st the seasonally corrected
unemployment rate lay at 9.9% in January in the euro area unchanged in
comparison with December 2009. It lay at 8.5% in January 2009...

will also see a restructured MISSOC table XI on Guaranteeing Minimum
Resources. Table XI is one of the youngest MISSOC Tables, together with
Table XII on Long‐term care. After the restructuring of the latter
Table in 2009, it was the only Table that had not yet undergone a
reform and modernisation exercise, notably thanks to EAPN’s response to
it...
