Economic growth has resumed in the EU, although the recovery remains fragile. Nevertheless, it is still too early to have had much impact on employment at this stage, and latest data covering the period up to December 2009/January 2010 indicate that the labour market continues to deteriorate, although at a more moderate pace over recent months.
