The poverty Alliance and Joseph Rowntree Foundation are organizing a joint seminar “Hearts and minds: building public support to tackle poverty and income inequality in the UK”, on 9 July 2009.
In times of economic crisis campaigners need to better understand how to engage the public, and what approaches are most likely to create support for progressive social policies. This seminar will be an opportunity to explore some of these issues.
The seminar is free but places are limited. Location: City Chambers, Edinburgh, 10am-3pm. To find out more and to register for this event on-line please click here.
