19/06/2012 – The European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN) Ireland is calling for an honest debate on how we can ensure that everyone has access to a decent income whether from social welfare or work and on how to remove poverty traps for those trying to move from welfare to work.

Unless a new approach is found, the social, economic and health costs will be enormous and difficult to reverse.
