DetailsPING ‘Poverty Is Not a Game’ is a ‘serious’ game to be used by schools as a teaching tool, and is accompanied by a handbook for teachers which draws extensively on the EAPN ‘Poverty explainer’. EAPN Portugal also contributed to the testing phase of the game earlier this year with a group of young people in Lisbon.

The videos look at how further cuts will affect vulnerable groups, and also how such measures are likely to increase poverty and delay economic recovery.
Details2010 has been declared the European Year for Combating Poverty & Social Exclusion. As part of the year, three films have been made to raise awareness of poverty in Scotland from the perspectives of young, adult, and older people.
