DetailsSeveral civil society groups sent a joint letter to MEP Pascal Canfin and other MEPs, cosponsoring the Financewatch Initiative initating the idea of developing a response to the lack of critical lobbying from civil society in the field of financial regulation. A delegation from EAPN led by Swedish Executive member Sonja Wallbom met with Commissioner Andor on 3 November. EAPN took the opportunity of this meeting to welcome progress made on integrating social issues in the Europe 2020 strategy and stressed with the Commissioner that a reinforced Social OMC built on National Action Plans on Inclusion must be a visible part of the future Platform against Poverty.
