Several people experiencing poverty were invited to participate in working meetings, which took place in Bucharest and Madrid. On the occasion of the 2010 European Year for combating poverty and social exclusion, EAPN Ireland will be organizing an international conference on “Building Social Europe – from Crisis to Recovery” in Dublin, Ireland, on Friday 19 February 2010. Brussels, 3 February 2010 – The Commission Lisbon evaluation and overview of the public consultation is a cause for concern for EAPN. The Commission published yesterday their staff working documents on the Lisbon evaluation and the first overview of responses to the Europe 2020 consultation.
