SUMMARY:Conference "Youth for Sustainable Europe"
DESCRIPTION:Young European Federalist (JEF Europe) in the framework of the LADDER project (Local Authorities as Drivers for Development Education and Raising Awareness) invites you to take part in the conference “Youth for Sustainable Europe” taking place in Brussels from 25 to 27 of September 2017. \nAbout the Special Initiative \nIt aims to bring together European and local policy-makers\, youth organizations and civil society\, along with young people from all over Europe to discuss the role of youth in creating a sustainable future for\nall and implement the SGDs. \nHow will it work? \nThe conference will take 2.5 days and will consist of:\n-panel debates and discussions between the policy-makers\, civil society and citizens on the Agenda 2030 for development\, as well as the role of youth organizations in development and raising awareness of SDGs on a local level.\n– interactive workshops by youth organizations and civil society representatives on various youth in development related topics\n– debate with the heads of political party youth organizations on the role of youth in sustainable development on the European\, national and local level. \nApplication procedure\nApplication form: HERE\nDeadline for applications: September 1st\, 23:59 CET**\nApplications will be selected on the first-come-first-serve basis\, so do no wait too long to apply! \nFor any inquiries please contact Sonja Afanasjeva at this email address: sonja.afanasjeva@jef.eu \nFor more information please read the invitation below : \nCall YouthForSustainableEurope\nSize : 2 MB Format : PDF
