SUMMARY:Co-creating open digital services for age-friendly cities and communities - Join Mobile Age Final Conference
DESCRIPTION:AGE has been involved in the EU-funded project Mobile Age since early 2016. The project aims at co-creating together with older persons digital services to support their independent living\, offer greater opportunities for social participation\, and improve their mobility. \nLocal governments are more and more using open data to provide public services to their citizens. However\, they lack tools on how to involve citizens\, especially older citizens\, in the design\, planning\, implementation and evaluation of these initiatives in order to make them address citizens’ needs and expectations in their daily life. To fill that gap\, the Mobile Age project\, together with older persons\, local government\, social care service providers\, has developed and tested a co-creation methodology and tools in four pilot sites: Bremen (DE)\, South Lakeland (UK)\, Zaragoza (ES) and Region Central Macedonia (EL). \nAGE is now co-organising the final conference of the project in Brussels on 10 October 2018.
