SUMMARY:EAPN annual Policy conference: Learning from the past to beyond 2020 - What strategy to fight poverty?
DESCRIPTION:EAPN’s annual conference will be on 15 June\, 14:00-17:30\, under the title Learning from the past to Beyond 2020 – What EU strategy to fight poverty\, exclusion and inequality? \nThe conference will be an opportunity to exchange together on the following questions: \n\nWhat integrated strategy should the EU propose to effectively fight poverty? What can we learn from the past? What do people in poverty want and expect from the EU? How does this connect to the European Pillar of Social Rights?\nHow should this strategy be mainstreamed into a post 2020 strategy? Can the Sustainable Development Goals offer a better and more operational framework to take over from Europe 2020? Should this be through a re-vamped European Semester? SUMMARY:25th European Social Services Conference
DESCRIPTION:The 25th European Social Services Conference (ESSC) will take place in Valletta (Malta) on 26-28 June 2017 in cooperation with the Maltese Presidency of the Council of the European Union\, and organised by the European Social Network. \nThe 25th anniversary edition of the ESSC will explore how innovation and new practices can help local public social services tackle social exclusion. \nShape the agenda! \nThroughout the conference\, various organisations will get the chance to share innovative practices from across Europe through a series of workshops – and your organisation could be one of them! This is a chance to innovate\, interact and inspire each other to develop new ideas and respond to common challenges. \nThey are particularly interested in receiving good practice examples of public/social/digital innovation which improves people’s life chances. SUMMARY:Social Work Education in Europe | Challenging boundaries\, promoting a sustainable future
DESCRIPTION:The Paris conference in 2017 will join a large group of European social work educators\, students\, practitioners and users in interactive discussion\, dialogue and exchange of ideas and thoughts.
