FNARS (member of EAPN France): Don’t put people back on the street

FNARS sent the Minister of Equality of Territories and Housing an evaluation of the number of places available this winter and of the number that should remain available. 75% of all places opened for the winter have closed down.

FNARS’ report determines a minimum of 6000 places should remain open so as not to put people back on the street. FNARS also strongly advocates for action going beyond guaranteeing a shelter: an analysis of needs is also required and it is essential to set up structures to accompany people.
