The EU Inclusion Strategies Group provides mutual support to Networks for the development of National Strategies and plans to fight poverty and will engage with EU Institutional arrangements and Strategies (Europe 2020, Social OMC, Employment Strategy, Platform Against Poverty, Structural Funds) to see to which extent they can be used to support the implementation of such strategies. They will also assess the strengths and weaknesses of these EU Strategies and policies. One day a year it will report to the Executive Committee and bring forward any key strategic decisions for debate and adoption by the Executive Committee.
