Support the fight for a Social Europe free of Poverty
The objective of EAPN’s Fund is to support the fight for a social Europe free of poverty through:
- Ensuring the development of EAPN and its National Networks as a strong alliance of anti-poverty NGOs contributing to the participation of people experiencing poverty.
- Increase the impact of participation of people experiencing poverty in all matters and policies that affect them and the communities in which they live.
- Sponsoring an EAPN Award for Transnational Inspiration and Learning.
A legacy from the 2010 EU Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion The EAPN Fund was established as a legacy from 2010 (the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion) and on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN). It is managed by the Kind Baudouin Foundation. The Fund aims to support the work of EAPN, its National Networks and to strengthen the direct participation of people living in poverty. EAPN Fund seeks the support of prominent persons, companies, foundations, public authorities and people who believe in a social Europe free of poverty to contribute financial support to build the Fund. The EAPN Fund will be sponsoring a Biennial Award for Transnational Inspiration and Learning in the Fight against Poverty and Social Exclusion in Europe.

EAPN Award for Transnational Inspiration and Learning in the Fight against Poverty and Social Exclusion in Europe.
This award will be given every two years. It will recognise initiatives to fight poverty and social exclusion which can clearly demonstrate that they have been inspired by trans-national exchange and learning. They will be awarded in the following two categories:
