Belgian Anti-Poverty Network (BAPN)

The Belgian Anti-Poverty Network (BAPN) is an independent national non-profit organisation and has amongst others the following objectives:

 

  • advocacy towards political decision-makers at federal and European level with regard to social, economic and financial policies in order to eradicate poverty
  • sensitizing activities – towards the general public, organisations, media, parties, social parties – with regard to poverty and social exclusion, structural policies, stereotypes…
  • permanent participation of people experiencing poverty

In its work, BAPN collaborates with people experiencing poverty, grassroots organisations, the regional anti-poverty networks and other partner organisations.
