EAPN participated in the Mid-Term meeting of the PROGRESS Project “Bridges for Inclusion”, that took place in Oporto, on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th January.
The project is coordinated by REAPN (EAPN Portugal) and involves 5 partners: UREI – Languedoc/Roussillon, CARITAS Romania, EAPN Bulgaria, Belgium and Spain. It is supported by the ILO learning platform CIARIS and EAPN Europe.
The project aims to develop concrete strategies and action to reinforce coordination and interaction between Employment and Social Inclusion European strategies, with particular emphasis on the role of social economy and other local development instruments.
In the first year the project produced EU and National Assessments of the links between employment and social inclusion strategies. This meeting concentrated on transferring leaning from detailed Peer Reviews carried out between partners on concrete local strategies and projects during December. The final assessments will be used to draw together and practical Road Map to build better bridges for Inclusion.
