Rome, January 23, 2014 – CILAP EAPN Italia was invited to participate in the first meeting organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies related to the strategic role that the different levels of government and the social partners must play in relation to the guidelines aimed at the preparation of the Italian Operational Programme for the FEAMD. According to CILAP EAPN Italia this meeting was a welcome change, shifting from the usual practice of presenting the social partners with the work already prepared and finished and, therefore, with no possibility of a real cooperation between the different stakeholders to an open meeting where all positions were taken into account. The social partners were asked to present their contributions and ideas for the OP in writing. Two more meetings are to be held before the finalization of the Italian OP.
