During 2004, EAPN has, in relation to the social agenda of the European Union, continued to make an important contribution from the perspective of people experiencing poverty and social exclusion. As an interlocutor of the European Institutions on poverty and social exclusion issues, the Network has developed its own policy agenda to inform European, national, regional and local policies. Issues like social inclusion, employment, access to rights, participatory democracy and the European Union’s Structural Funds, are at the heart of our work.
The work done by EAPN in 2004 is outlined in this report. This report primarily reflects the European level work of EAPN but also gives some snapshots of the work at national level of the EAPN National Networks.
