The second Transnational WorkYP Meeting was held online on 9 – 15 and 18 September 2020. The 11 partners, of which 8 Universities and 3 Social Rights Institutions, including EAPN, gathered online to discuss the state of the project and the next milestones. The consortium also discussed the impact of Covid-19 on in-work poverty. Mathias Maucher, policy officer at EAPN, presented to the project partners the EAPN report ‘The Impact of Covid-19 on People Experiencing Poverty and Vulnerability’. Our colleague presented the main findings of the report, focusing on employment, and its relevance for the WorkYP Project. It was highlighted that Covid-19 has an impact in groups that are within the scope of WorkYP, such as atypical and self-employed workers, and particularly affected low-income households.
