EAPN has already set out amendments that could usefully be incorporated into the proposed regulations to govern the Structural Funds.
This document aims to summarise the core elements of the changes sought, the benefits that will flow from these changes and the rationale underlying the changes. It is hoped that this document will be a resource at European Union and Member State level in informing the debate about the reform of the Structural Funds and in reinforcing the case made for change by EAPN.
The amendments sought by EAPN seek to reinforce the impact of Structural Funds on social inclusion and equal opportunities.
