This was done together with local partners – notably the City of Mulhouse which was strongly involved in the process(1). The meeting presented citizens’ initiatives to provide local answers to the natural resources crisis, and new forms of production and consumption.

(1) The word “territory” must be understood in a broad sense, as it has been applied to a highschool, communities, enterprises, and even the Mulhouse City Zoo. Other examples are regions (Italy, Cape Verde), a group of municipalities (in Wallonia, Belgium), and an administrative district (Paris, XIVth district).
