On 02/12/2015, EAPN held a stakeholder dialogue round table on the topic of how to make progress on the 20% ear-marking of ESF on social inclusion and poverty and on the code of conduct on partnership. In 2015, EAPN established a Task Force to develop a Barometer survey with its members to monitor the implementation of both these topics, involving representatives from EAPN Portugal, Germany, Spain, Estonia, Romania and Bulgaria.The purpose of this meeting was to share the first findings from EAPN’s survey, highlighting key national experiences from EAPN members as a basis for exchange with EU institutions and other key stakeholders active on this theme. It was targeted at key civil society and social stakeholders concerned about how to use EU funds effectively to tackle poverty and promote social inclusion.
The main objectives of the meeting:
1) Take stock of the state of play implementing the 20% ESF ear-marking on poverty and Assess how far the code of conduct on partnership is being actively supported;
2) Debate with decision-makers and stakeholders recommendations to ensure more effective delivery including in the Review of the Multi-Annual Financial Framework.
