Creating Greater Income Equality
Unequal societies are detrimental to our economy, to society in general and to our individual welfare. EAPN Ireland has posted a new article on its Blog which discusses the issue of income inequality in Ireland and the need to start a debate on this. It is essential that, as a first step in the process, a minimum essential standard of living is researched, implemented and monitored in order to ensure that we have a just and sustainable foundation from which to implement great income equality. Communicating Europe Initiative; Skills Seminar Video on Accessing EU Funding
As part of the Communicating Europe Initiative, the European Anti Poverty Network Ireland organised a series of skills seminars for Community and Voluntary organisations in November 2010. The first video from our Dublin seminar included inputs from a range of experts on influencing and connecting with European policy and politics.
