In preparation for the Forum on Tuesday 26 March 2013, 156 people took part in workshops organised by Community Workers Coop (CWC) and EAPN Ireland in Longford, Cork, Tralee, Wexford, Dublin and Galway and a national meeting on ‘poverty affecting women and minorities’.
One Family and Women for Election will host a seminar on the morning of Tuesday 21 May 2013 in the European Parliament Offices on Molesworth Street. Engaging Women: Taking the Next Step into Politics features keynote speaker Jessica N Grounds, Executive Director of Running Start and Training Lead for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign for the Iowa Caucuses.
The seminar is designed to inform and stimulate women who may already be making a difference in their communities or who would like to become more politically active in some way. There will be plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion too, and a light lunch will be followed after the event. Attendance is free but registration is essential. Click on title.
