In October EAPN Ireland is organising four Regional Workshops and six focus groups on Ireland’s National Action Plan for Social Inclusion 2008-2010 which was submitted last week to the European Commission as part of their National Report on Strategies for Social Protection and Social Inclusion.
The events will aim to inform participants about the NAP incl. and discuss progress in implementing the Government’s commitments for addressing poverty and social exclusion. The reports from the events will form a core part of EAPN Ireland’s shadow report on Ireland’s National Action Plan for Social Inclusion 2008- 2010 and will be disseminated at the National Social Inclusion Forum which is provisionally set for the 26th November.
