The Claiming Our Future event held on Saturday 30 October in the RDS in Dublin, which brought over 1,000 people together, gave expression to the deep frustration within civil society about the almost total exclusion of community and non-governmental organisations from decision-making processes that will determine the conditions and life chances of ordinary citizens for at least the next decade. - EAPN Ireland Skills Seminar Video – Influencing EU Policy and Obtaining Funding
As part of the Communicating Europe Inititive EAPN Ireland organised a series of skills seminars for community and voluntary organisations in November 2010. These seminars included inputs from a range of experts on influencing and connecting with European policy and politics. The seminars also provided expert advice on using EU funding and grants.
