The Commission has opened a public consultation on its revised guidelines for impact assessments. These guidelines are used by the Commission’s staff when assessing the economic, social and environmental impact of Commission’s proposals, like communications or proposed directives.
EAPN and its members are now preparing their contribution to this consultation which is running until 25 July 2008. We’ll let you know more about it in the next issue of the EAPN Flash.
EAPN will also respond to the Commission’s Revised Social Agenda Package, and is currently preparing a response to the Communication on ‘Reinforcing the OMC”. Watch this space for further details.
