Gathering researchers, stakeholders and policymakers, the event was an opportunity to present and discuss a policy review on ‘More opportunities, better access, and higher solidarity for youth on the margins of society’, summarizing the findings and policy orientations of 5 FP7 research projects on socially excluded youth, such as young migrants, long-term unemployed or homeless youth, those in public care. Vincent Caron, Policy Officer, presented EAPN view on the links between Youth and Social Inclusion: issues, challenges and policy recommendations on how to move forward to ensure access to education, training for all people for success pathways to social inclusion, decent jobs and effective participation.
