EAPN Portugal has been promoting the citizenship and participation of people who experience or have experienced situations Poverty and/or social exclusion through citizenship movements, at the district level -Local Citizens’ Councils – national level – National Council and also at European level, with the participation in the European Meeting of People Experiencing Poverty. By promoting participation we are also promoting the autonomy, empowerment and emancipation as individuals and citizens!
