EAPN provides training in Malta on Civil and Social Dialogue

It was also the occasion to look at the role of the different partners in the dialogue and to assert the need to involve NGOs in the dialogue. It was also the opportunity to assess how the necessary pre conditions for effective civil and social dialogue could be strengthened in Malta. Fintan took advantage of the opportunity to also meet with the Members of EAPN Malta and to discuss with them the future development of EAPN Europe and the role of EAPN Malta.  It was also an occasion to visit a homeless project and a residential and respite care centre in Malta. Part of the discussion with the EAPN Malta members revolved around the reality and difficulties of trying to access EU Structural Funds to support their work.
