EAPN’s Input to 2012 Commission Recommendation on Child Poverty

The consultation was based on a questionnaire focussing on 3 key questions:

  1. What is the added valued of a specific EU initiative
  2. What essential principles should feature in the Recommendation ( support to families, access to services and children’s participation and
  3. What suggestions for mechanisms to implement and monitor the Recommendation, in the context of Europe 2020 and the Social OMC. The SPC will prepare a report on the findings of the consultation which will feed into the Recommendation which will be adopted by June 2012.
