In advance of the upcoming EPSCO meeting on the 9-10 December, and European Council Meeting on the 12-13 December, EAPN wrote letters to Social Ministers and to the “Trios” (Finnish Presidency and Croatian and German future Presidencies) as well as to Heads of State sharing our reflections on the need for a meaningful process to establish a post-Europe 2020 framework.
In those letters, EAPN calls:

- for priority targets including a new ambitious 50% reduction poverty target
- for the need to move forward on hard law instruments to guarantee rights particularly regarding adequate income
- for the participation of civil society organizations
