EAPN Spain welcomes the Transparency Law
23/03 – EAPN Spain welcomes the approval of the draft of the Transparency Law this Friday in the Council of Ministers. This piece of legislation should contribute to improve the quality of democracy and of the actions taken by public authorities. Read more.

15/03 – EAPN Spain held its conference “New proposals for new times”, in the headquarters of the ONCE (the National Organisation of Blind People). The aim of the day was to contribute, through debate and collective reflection, to the elaboration of short-term and medium-term measures that public authorities and social organisations should take regarding the social consequences of the economic and financial crisis. Minister for Social Affairs announces drafting of Law for Social Sector
The Minister for Social Affairs, Ana Mato, announced the drafting of a Law for the Social Sector, to guarantee the stability and future of social-service providing organisations, recognized as important for society not only for their solidarity but also for the fundamental work they do. read more here.
Volunteering: School of Citizenship
EAPN Spain and the RAIS Foundation will be organising on 10 April a workshop/training on “volunteering entities, school of citizenship”, to better accompany and generate an educational path for volunteering. It particularly aims at people coordinating volunteering activities in social organisations. Read more here.
