EAPN President Carlos Susias, Director Leo Williams and Policy Coordinator Sian Jones met with Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis to discuss a coherent social and sustainable post-2020 strategy, an economy which works for the people to reduce poverty and inequalities and an action plan on the implementation of the Pillar of Social Rights!
One of the key points of the meeting was the need for adequate accessible Minimum Income Schemes (MIS): there is a strong legal base for EU level MIS – it needs political commitment and ambition as part of the Action Plan on the pillar of Social Rights!
