Civil society organisation want to have their say in the National Reform Programme
Belgium will present its National Reform Programme this month to the EU, as foreseen by the new European 2020 Strategy. Trade unions, environmental federations, north-south platforms and BAPN have co-signed a press release to express their common preoccupations and demands. BAPN calls for measures for homeless people who are back in the streets
01/04 – BAPN organised a demonstration in 4 different cities that same day (Brussels, Charleroi, Antwerp and Liege), calling on public authorities to take measures against the harsh reality faced by homeless people, forced to live in the streets again as most housing centres have now closed down. If some efforts have been made, as BAPN’s survey reveals, much remains to be done in that regard. For more information, contact karoline.schepens@bapn.be.
