29/06 – In their press releases, the united organisations mentioned they were invited in a new meeting with the Secretary of State for Housing Benoît Apparu on ‘Refoundation’. After a two-year dialogue, they feared that this meeting could be totally disconnected from the on-ground situation, which they keep denouncing. Efficiency of RSA (French minimum income scheme) and difficulties encountered by recipients
28/06 – The creation of the RSA mainly aimed at simplifying the different minimum social schemes, putting them all together in a single mechanism and at boosting employment with an additional-income scheme. 2 years after it was set up, in the context of a debate on “lazy people depending on the State” and of violent critiques towards RSA recipients, FNARS carried out a 2nd survey.
