The final verdict from three economists Walter Baier, Miren Etxezarreta, and John Grahl in cooperation with the organisers concludes that the legacy and ongoing impact of EU- and Troika-driven policies implemented during the crisis is one of impoverishment of millions of people, social deprivation, and deteriorating quality of life of the majority.

The mobilization also included a demonstration in front of BusinessEurope in the morning, which resulted in no less than 250 people arrested because “the demonstration didn’t have formal authorisation”.
