Day 2 of the 13th European Meeting of People experiencing Poverty started with 5 parallel workshops on the topic of Funding the fight against Poverty and the Use of Structural Funds. The afternoon was dedicated to 5 other workhops on the topics of
- Minimum Income for a Decent Life,
- Homeless not Hopeless
- Youth and Poverty
- Combating Poverty and the Exclusion of Migrants
- Wealth and Inequality and the FIght against Poverty
The day ends with a market place, for Delegates and Guests to exchange. The Market Place is opened by Mrs Lieve Fransen, Director Social Policies and Europe 2020 at the European Commission.
Tomorrow, the 3rd and final day of the #2014PEP, will start by the report back from the workshops and a panel discussion. The meeting will be closed by Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion László Andor.
