IFSW Europe has a focus on the role of social work and social care. Human rights and social justice are critical in any social workers thinking and actions. Social workers often advocate on behalf people requiring social protection and assistance and see first-hand the impact of Covid-19 on access to social services and people facing poverty and inequality. Social workers work in communities with people to find positive ways forward in the challenges they face in their lives.
