11/11 – The Scottish Living Wage Campaign today welcomed the announcement by the Scottish Parliament’s Local Government and Regeneration Committee that their first bit of business following scrutiny of the Scottish Government’s spending plans will be to look at the benefits of a living wage for individuals, families and communities; the introduction of a living wage by local authorities; and the extent to which procurement can include criteria linked to the payment of a living wage.
