
6-month paid placement (CIP) – Based in Brussels
The European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN) is looking for a Participation & Network Development Assistant to join our team for a six-month paid placement under the Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle (CIP) scheme.
🌍 About the Role
The Participation & Network Development Assistant will support:
The meaningful involvement of people with lived experience of poverty in EU and national-level policymaking
Capacity-building and development across EAPN’s member organisations
The organisation of the European Meeting of People Experiencing Poverty
Inclusive and accessible internal processes across our network
The role is based in Brussels and offers a chance to work closely with civil society organisations across Europe, gaining first-hand experience in EU advocacy, participatory governance, and community engagement.
🧭 What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a motivated, socially committed candidate with:
Interest in participation, anti-poverty work, and civil society
Experience (paid or unpaid) in community organising or social action
Willingness to learn and work in a diverse, multilingual team
A strong commitment to inclusion, equity and human rights
