The European Year against poverty in 2010 is a crucial moment, to stocktake on progress made and to implement a social pact with decision-makers on the necessary future measures to eradicate poverty.
In 2007, EAPN has been actively involved in the preparation and proposals for the year, and in promoting debate amongst all stakeholders.
In 2008, EAPN has been campaigning for an early decision on the guidelines, process and funding for the year so as to actively support national networks and European organisations members to develop ambitious and innovative national and EU proposals which will help the year make a decisive impact on poverty.
