This publication collects a number of testimonies, or rather life trajectories of people, in many different areas and in different spheres, that contribute to the Portuguese society and to the well-being of people. This publication allows to reinforce two main messages: first, it celebrates the European Year of Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations, because we can only be delighted with this conquest, which is the opportunity of living longer; on the other hand, allows us to look at the future, because ageing with quality remains a challenge facing the entire society and it requires urgent policy attention.
