In a time of growing inequality, division and overlapping crises, solidarity remains a vital force for advocacy, politics and social movements. When organisations and activists are constantly responding to the next emergency, there’s little room left to ask what could be built together and what’s standing in the way.
Our next EAPN Talks session takes up that question directly. During our webinar we will explore how solidarity can move beyond being an abstract value and become a practical principle for collective action.
To do so, we’re pleased to welcome Gina Romero, UN Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association and Cecilia Bailliet, Independent Expert on human rights and international solidarity.
The session will be interactive, with space for conversation and questions from participants.
🗓️ Date: Thursday 22 October
🕒 Time: 2:00 p.m. (CET)
📍 Format: Online event (Zoom)
