EYCA policy recommendations (soon available in 18 languages) primarily target EU and National policy makers and are organised following a precise reasoning starting from our vision for Europe which is that of a Union based upon solidarity, equality and participation (Chapter 1 – Active European Citizenship as a Project of Society). However this vision for Europe implies to ensure that vulnerable, marginalised and excluded citizens are equally involved and included in society, notably in terms of participation (Chapter 2 – An Open and Inclusive European Democracy) and to strengthen the three democratic pillars that are (a) education and information, (b) open and responsive institutions and (c) strong and independent civil society (Chapter 3 – One European Democracy, Three Democratic Pillars).
The EYC has been extended till the end of 2014. Now, time is to make sure that the EYCA Policy Recommendations will be given full visibility through EYCA Members. EAPN will play its role through its Campaign for the European Elections…
