{jathumbnail}On July 12th, EAPN organised a hearing in the European Parliament, hosted by Frédéric Daerden MEP (S&D, Belgium), dedicated to Making Active Inclusion Work in Times of Crisis.
The main new element is the new Compact for Growth and Jobs and re-focussing of Structural Funds to this end, with gains for youth unemployment, research, innovation, SME’s, and a reference to implementing effective policies to combat poverty and support vulnerable groups.. but with no detail.
