With just over one week to go to the Scottish elections the Poverty Alliance, Scotland’s anti-poverty network, has called on whoever forms the next Government to take the necessary steps to make poverty the priority for the next Government.
Scottish Living Wage campaign has welcomed the announcement in Scottish Labour’s manifesto that if they form the next Scottish Government they will introduce a living wage of at least £7.15 an hour starting with those working in the public sector.
Last March Hungary celebrated the anniversary of the 1848 Revolution and fight for freedom (against the Habsburgs). An important point of the Revolution was the publishing and disseminating of the “12 points”, which were the main requirements of the Revolutionists regarding freedom in Hungary.
