In the context of the European Year 2010, two associations – Clara from France and Babelea at European level – with the support of EAPN France, have created this short video to give voice to migrants.
The “Collectif des associations unies” met in Matignon, the Governement’s residence on 10 November, with Prime Minister François Fillon, Minister for Environment Jean-Louis Borloo and Secretary of State for Housing Benoist Apparu, on the eve of a ministerial reshuffle.
The UK Government launched on 11 November a White Paper on Welfare. The paper contains proposals to simplify the benefit system, to “make work pay” and introduces the idea of a ‘universal’ credit.
