EAPN Cyprus stands by KISA in asking for human treatment and respect of Conventions and Directives and agrees that there have been cases of violations. The statement made by KISA here below follows a visit to the detention centers in response to the request from many people in the detention centers to come and see their reality.

06/12 – CILAP EAPN Italia and the organisation Associazione Amici di Piazza Grande are organizing a meeting on “The emerging needs, reflections and proposals from the people experiencing poverty and social exclusion“, with a two-fold objective: discuss the results of the 10th European Meeting of Experiencing Poverty and launch the activities for 2012.
The non-profit organization IQ Roma servis and its transnational cooperation project Together and Across wishes to share the 3rd issue of its project bulletin on social exclusion at European level, dedicated this time to the concept of the Ethnic Friendly Employer brand, which originated in the IQ Roma servis Civic Association.
New headlines are currently dominated by the financial crisis still causing havoc to economies across the EU, leading to austerity measures that are hitting the poorest hardest.
