{jathumbnail}On 28 February, the Slovak Anti-Poverty Network (SAPN) will hold the second Public Hearing on Poverty in Slovakia, in the National Council of the Slovak Republic, under the auspices of the Chair of the National Council, Pavol Hrušovský. About 80 people with experience of poverty, NGOs working with them and members of Parliament will take part.

The preliminary results from the Central Statistics Office Survey of Income and Living Conditions 2010 shows that the at-risk of poverty rate grew from 14.1% in 2009 to 15.8% in 2010.
